Choosing the Best certification training will provide participants with the knowledge and understanding needed to effectively provide Choosing the Best abstinence education curricula in classrooms.

A full day is needed to certify teachers in Choosing the Best middle school programs: Choosing the Best LIFE, PATH, and WAY. A full day is also needed to certify teachers in Choosing the Best High School programs: Choosing the Best JOURNEY and SOULMATE. The certification training includes a PowerPoint presentation covering why abstinence works and is extremely motivational in getting teachers personally committed to the abstinence message, helping them to effectively teach each curriculum, and in helping “set the record straight” about abstinence education and Choosing the Best. Our trainer will demonstrate one classroom lesson per curriculum and provide an opportunity for “teachbacks” by the teachers. In addition, each of the classroom exercises will be demonstrated to help the teachers become comfortable with the mechanics of these highly effective student interactions.
